SEO Fermanagh

Fermanagh does not make many searches for your trade, which is exactly why losing one hurts. We work to have you named first on the map, then through the results, then inside the answer written above them. What we charge is on view, and the reporting counts enquiries. There is a meeting address on Belmore Street in Enniskillen.

  1. Your goals
  2. Your details
  3. Done

Only so many people go looking for your trade in Fermanagh in a given week, and one name is taking most of them.

It is rarely the better business. It is the one whose profile is finished, whose website has a page for each job rather than a list of them, and whose reviews carry this month’s date. When somebody in Lisnaskea or Irvinestown searches, Google reaches for the business it knows most about, and that is all the contest amounts to.

In a county this size that is good news, because the number of firms doing the job properly is small and a small field is one you can get to the front of. We do the work, and what the report counts is enquiries, so the return is something you see rather than something taken on trust.

  1. Why one name in Enniskillen takes nearly all of it

Everything in this county funnels through the one town. A person in Derrylin or Kesh looking for a trade gets Enniskillen answers, because Enniskillen is where Google expects the business to be. If your address is out in the country and your website never says which villages you work, you are missing from the only answer most people ever see.

Behind the map Google is checking a handful of things. Is this the right kind of business, is it near, is it open, and have people chosen it recently and said so publicly. One firm in your trade here usually has all four in place. Most of the rest have the first and little else.

The gaps are always the same ones. A profile set up once with the category wrong and the services half listed. A website with a single page for every job, so there is nothing for one particular search to land on. Reviews that dried up a few years ago. And nothing on the site naming Lisnaskea, Irvinestown, Belleek or Kesh, so those searches go to somebody who did name them.

There is one more thing here that catches people out. Plenty of your customers cross the border from Cavan or Monaghan, and they are shown the Irish results while your neighbours are shown the UK ones. A business finished properly appears in both. A half done one appears in neither.

  2. The work that makes you the Fermanagh answer

What you are buying is your name in three places at once. Somebody near Enniskillen looks for your trade, and there you are, pinned on the map with your number a thumb away, in the results beneath it, and in whatever answer Google puts above the lot. The call comes, and the report ties it to the words that were typed.

Four jobs, and none of them exciting. The Google profile completed and then maintained, right category, services listed out, pictures from this season, and the villages you cover written into the service area. One page per thing you sell. Reviews collected while the work is still fresh, and replied to as they appear. And one name, one address and one number in every directory and register that carries you, Enniskillen Chamber included.

Then the parts nobody notices. A website that still works on a phone with one bar out by the lakes, the markup that leaves Google in no doubt which business and which address a page belongs to, and writing that gets at what a customer here asks first. Your local customers are on Google’s UK results and anyone coming up from the south is on the Irish ones, so both get watched.

Where money is sitting in a search that belongs to somebody else, you hear the search, the work it takes and when it ought to start paying. Nothing is kept back for a second conversation.

  3. Why Fermanagh businesses put the work our way

Take every line of this and test it before you spend anything.

The agency has been going since 2013. Whoever writes your plan is on the work every month it runs, so there is no handover and nothing goes missing between a meeting and an invoice.

Prices are published, which counts for more in a county where budgets are tight and nobody wants to ring an agency to be sold at. The report counts enquiries, because a position nobody clicks is not worth paying for. The reviews here are the ones Google holds, each with a name on it, left by businesses that pay us.

Clients are met on Belmore Street in Enniskillen, which is where most of the county comes anyway. Head office is a couple of hours away in County Louth. Either way, the people planning it are the people doing it.

  4. Being named when Google writes the answer itself

Google now answers plenty of questions itself, above the results, and it names businesses while it does so. ChatGPT names them as well when somebody asks who to use in Fermanagh. Both work off the evidence the map has relied on for years. A profile with nothing left blank, reviews dated this season, and pages that say what is sold and to whom.

That answer is a result like the ten under it, won the same way. Nobody has a product to sell you for it, and anyone claiming otherwise is worth watching. What it does reward is writing a machine can quote straight, so prices, hours, the villages you cover and the answers people want before ringing all need to be there in plain words.

Every Fermanagh campaign carries it, and no invoice has a line for it. Once that answer begins listing names for your trade around Enniskillen, the aim is for yours to be one of them, and the report will mark the month it happens.

  5. What comes back when you ask

Fill the form in or ring. Inside the next working day the list comes back, the searches made in your trade here, your standing on each, and who is above you. No charge and no obligation.

If it goes further, a fortnight is spent measuring. What you show up for now, where the site falls over, which listings still carry an old number or the wrong hours, and what the name above you has already done.

Then a month of foundations. The profile finished, the listings put right, the site faults cleared in order, a review requested at the close of every job, and tracking fitted so the source of every call and form is known. After that come the service pages, written in the order they earn.

Inside ninety days you ought to be on the map for searches made close to the premises, and the first report should put a search and a village beside each enquiry. Here a trade plus a town name moves first, and the county word follows it. If a quarter passes with nothing changing, the report puts it in those words and the plan is redrawn.

  6. The Fermanagh trades this earns its keep for

The county lives on three things. The lakes, the land, and the town that serves both. Tourism runs the summer and the weekends, farming and the trades supplying it run all year, and Enniskillen does the retail, the professional work and the health services for everybody in between.

Anything in the visitor trade is booked long before the visitor arrives. Hotels, guesthouses, self catering, boats, fishing and wedding venues are searched for months ahead of the date, so the page has to be live and found months ahead of the season it serves. The booking sites have to be beaten to your own name too, which is done by answering the questions a visitor has first.

The farming end buys differently. Contractors, machinery dealers, feed merchants, vets and the quarry trade sell to people who already know the market, so the search is short and specific and the page has to answer it exactly. A vet or a dentist is chosen once and kept for years, which puts the weight on reviews and on being easy to reach out of hours.

Not every business belongs here. If the diary has to fill this week, ads are the honest answer and that is what you will hear from us. Where the spend is very small, the profile and the review habit are worth more than anything we could sell you, and they cost time rather than money. For the rest of Fermanagh, first place is close enough to reach for.

What it costs to be first in Fermanagh.

Rates are printed on the site, so asking what we cost is not a phone call. They are in euro, the same as everywhere else we work. Fermanagh sits at the bottom of the bands, because fewer firms here are competing properly and a smaller spend goes further. Enniskillen is the one place where a trade can be genuinely crowded.

  • Enniskillen, or one part of the county €800 to €1,500 a month

A business taking its work from the town, or from the lakes and villages at one end of Fermanagh.

    • A profile finished and then looked after
    • A page for every service you offer
    • Listings corrected wherever your name appears
    • The habit of asking for a review as a job closes
    • A report each month written in enquiries
  • The county, both sides of the water €1,500 to €3,500 a month

A firm covering all of Fermanagh, or a visitor trade selling to the south as well as the north.

    • All of the smaller band
    • Pages for the villages you actually serve
    • Writing aimed at a season before it starts
    • Links from local media and the trade
    • Enquiries traced to search, village and season
  • Fermanagh selling outward From €3,000 a month

A Fermanagh business selling to the rest of the UK, the south, or online.

    • Writing planned a quarter at a time
    • The technical side of a big website
    • Trade press coverage that has to be earned
    • Reporting judged on the money that came in

Where the money goes in each band is written into how much SEO costs in Ireland. Under €400 a month this is tidying rather than progress.

Fermanagh questions worth asking first

What would a Fermanagh campaign cost?

One town, or one end of the county, comes to €800 to €1,500 a month. In that you get a finished profile, a page per service, the directory work, the reviews and the report. Covering all of Fermanagh, or selling to the visitor trade north and south, moves into the second band, €1,500 to €3,500 a month, if the whole county is in the plan.

How long does it take here?

The map generally moves first, within the first quarter of the profile being finished and reviews arriving. Service pages take four to six months. Anything aimed at the summer has to be written and indexed the winter before, and that is the one bit of timing that catches people out.

We are out at Belleek. Are we too far from Enniskillen?

For searches made at that end of the county, no. Google answers with what is near the person asking, so naming Belleek, Kesh and the roads around them takes that corner while everybody else concentrates on the town. The county term is slower from out there, so it comes second.

Would we be better off with ads?

Ads are instant and they stop when the money does. Search is slower and it keeps going. In a county with numbers this small, the unpaid result earns more across a year than the paid one ever does, though a hotel or a venue filling a season can sensibly run both.

Can we get into the map around Enniskillen?

Where your address and your patch honestly fit the search, yes, and it is usually the first thing to move. It takes a finished profile, reviews still coming, listings that agree and a website that matches the profile. A fixed place on it cannot be promised by anybody.

Is there anybody of yours up here?

Yes. Belmore Street in Enniskillen is the meeting address for Fermanagh, so nothing needs a long drive. County Louth holds the office, and the campaign stays with the same people either way.
