Be the Cavan business found before the rest of your trade is. A local search fills three slots, the pins on the map, the links underneath, and the summary written above them, and we go after all three. Our charges are published rather than quoted, and clients here sit down with us on Farnham Street, so there is something solid to weigh before any money changes hands.
Enter your website and we will uncover the opportunities hiding across search, advertising, content and conversion.

Money moving through the search box
Restaurants take 1,900 searches a month in Cavan, hotels 1,300, and massage and taxis 1,000 each. Wedding venues take 720. All of them finish with one name being settled on, and the settling is done long before a phone is lifted.

Figures for Cavan out of Google Ads Keyword Planner, obtained through DataForSEO. The numbers are monthly averages drawn from the twelve months up to and including August 2026.
1,900 people a month go looking for somewhere to eat in Cavan, and the name Google puts first takes most of them.
You already know the name that keeps coming up in your own trade. It has a profile with every box filled, a website naming Virginia and Cootehill and Kingscourt instead of naming the county once, and reviews dated this month. Google has been given more to read there, and it read it.
That gap closes faster here than the size of the county suggests, because in any one trade very few businesses have done all of it properly. We do the work, and what arrives at the end of the month is a count of enquiries and the searches that produced them.
Google is not choosing the better business. It is choosing the more certain one. Between a firm it knows everything about and a firm it has to guess at, it takes the one it can describe, every time, because being wrong in public is the only thing it really minds.
Everything it knows about you came from somewhere you put it. The category on the profile. The services listed under it. The photographs and the dates on them. The opening hours. The towns named on the website. The reviews and when they were left. Leave any of that blank and the blank is what it works with.

The name above you in your trade left none of it blank. That is usually the whole difference, and it is a difference made in an afternoon of typing rather than over twenty years of trading.
Which is why this is worth doing here. Outside a couple of trades in Cavan town, hardly anybody has gone to that trouble. Being the complete one in your line takes a few months and then holds, because whoever is below you would have to do the same work to take it back.
What you are buying looks like this. A man in Bailieborough needs what you sell, gives his phone four words, and your business is what comes back. Your pin on the map, your listing in the links, your name in the summary written above both. He rings. The report at month end tells you it was that search and that town.
Getting there is four pieces of work, all of them plain. The Google profile completed and maintained, the correct category, all your services entered, this year’s pictures on it, and an area of service that matches where you really go. Customers asked for a review while the job is still fresh, and every review answered. A separate page for each service, so one job and one search can meet without a homepage getting in the way. And your name, address and number saying exactly the same thing everywhere they appear. Cavan Chamber is one of them, Local Enterprise Office Cavan another.

Beneath that, the site needs to open quickly on a phone somewhere between Belturbet and Ballyjamesduff, each page wants structured data saying which firm and which premises it describes, and the words have to answer what a buyer in this county worries about first. When a search worth money already belongs to another Cavan name, you are handed that search, the list of what it would take, and the likely wait.
Judge us on the monthly report, and what it counts is enquiries. How many people got in touch, which search sent each of them and which town they were standing in. You can hold it against the invoice without needing anybody to interpret it for you.
We have been trading since 2013. The plan for Cavan and the doing of it never leave the same desk, so there is nobody new to brief halfway through.
The prices are published, so you can work out affordability before a word is exchanged, and the figure does not move depending on who is asking. The reviews were left on Google by paying clients, publicly, under their own business names, and every one of them can be looked up.

Meetings here take place on Farnham Street. Head office sits in County Louth, and your campaign belongs to the people who planned it.
Type a job and Cavan town into Google now and a few lines arrive before any link does, with business names in them. ChatGPT hands out names of its own. Neither is reading anything unusual. Both are reading a profile with nothing missing, reviews with this season’s dates on them, and pages describing the work, the area and the sort of customer.
No product exists that sells you that on its own. It comes out of the ordinary work, so long as what you have written can be quoted straight. Your prices, your opening times, the Cavan towns you travel to, and straight answers to what people settle before they will ring anybody.

Google answering in its own words does not change what decides the answer. So it is inside every Cavan campaign we run, at no extra cost. If Google is going to hand out three names for your trade in this county, there is no reason one of them should not be yours, and the report shows you the month that starts.
Fill the form in, or ring. Inside one working day the Cavan figures for your trade come back, the volume on each search, where you land on them now and the names landing above you. Nothing is owed for it and nothing is signed.
Take it on and the opening fortnight goes on establishing exactly where Cavan puts you today. What Search Console already knows about you, what a crawl finds wrong, which listings still publish details you replaced long since, and how far in front the names above you have got.
The following month is the groundwork. The profile gets completed. Listings get put right one at a time. The site faults that cost the most get cleared before the small ones. Every completed job starts ending with a review being sought. Measurement is wired in at the start, so the figures later on hold up. Then the service pages, richest first, taken one at a time.
By month three anybody searching near your premises should be finding you among the pins, and each enquiry on that first report should arrive tagged with the search and the town behind it. Virginia, Cootehill and Bailieborough all move ahead of the county term. A blank quarter is recorded as a blank quarter, and the effort is redirected.
What Cavan types into Google tells you where the money is. Restaurants lead at 1,900 a month, hotels at 1,300, then massage and taxis at 1,000 each, dentists and takeaways at 880, wedding venues at 720, and car hire, gyms and pharmacies at 480. Those are real figures for a county this size.
Wedding venues at 720 is the one that stands out, and it is the lakes doing it. A venue at that level gets enquiries worth thousands apiece, and they are won on what the page deals with in advance. What a Saturday in August costs, how many the room seats, where the guests sleep. Hotels at 1,300 chase the same weekends and the same midweek breaks, and take the booking off the middlemen by handling those questions first.
Restaurants at 1,900 and takeaways at 880 are decided inside the map at teatime, on pictures from this year, on the hours being right and on reviews with dates people recognise. Taxis at 1,000 want the number to be one tap from the listing and nothing in the way of it.
A dentist at 880 is chosen by somebody who has been putting it off, so the page has to show faces and a fee before it shows anything else. Pharmacies and gyms at 480 are premises trades and the map settles them outright. Massage at 1,000 is high for this county and runs on recent reviews. Car hire at 480 is people arriving, so the page has to answer where you collect it and what a weekend costs.
It is not for every business here. Anybody who needs calls before the end of the month is looking for Google Ads, and that is what you will be told. Small budgets go further into your own listing than into an agency, and we will say that out loud. For everybody else in this county, being the name Cavan is shown first is a fair target.
An owner should be able to price this without booking anything, so the numbers are on show. Cavan sits towards the bottom of these bands. Outside the busiest trades in the town, the field chasing any one search is short, and that is reflected in what we ask for.
A business working out of Cavan town, Virginia or Cootehill, or from whichever pocket of the county you trade in.
A business covering the whole county, or a Cavan town trade with two or three serious names already in it.
A Cavan firm whose buyers are anywhere on this island, north of the border, or purely online.
There is no campaign inside €400 a month, only a bit of tidying. How much SEO costs in Ireland explains what sits inside each level of spend. If the numbers do not stack up for your trade, you will be told early rather than late.

Cavan town, or whichever end of the county you trade from, prices up at €800 to €1,500 a month. That holds the profile, a page for each thing you sell, the listings corrected, the reviews and the report. Go county-wide, or take on one of the busy town trades, and the second band opens, €1,500 to €3,500 a month, wherever the lakes and the market towns both come into it. The field here is short, which keeps both ends low.
The map moves before anything else, normally about three months after the profile is completed. A page built for one service is slower again, usually four to six months. Wedding work is the exception here, since it has to be written and indexed well ahead of the season it serves.
It earns you the north of the county. Proximity is most of the ranking in a local search, so a Cootehill business that writes Cootehill and Bailieborough onto its pages picks up that trade while the town businesses fight each other. The county term is a longer haul from out there, and it waits.
Ads deliver from day one and end on the last day you fund them. A free listing keeps producing afterwards. Cavan trades run into the hundreds of searches, which makes twelve free months the better buy. If there are rooms or a wedding season to fill, run both for a stretch and then let the search hold it.
If your premises and the roads you serve genuinely match what was typed, yes, and around Cavan that is the first thing to shift. It wants a profile with nothing left out, reviews through the year, listings that tally, and a site whose details match the ones on the profile. A fixed place is not in anybody's gift, whatever you have been promised elsewhere. You get the work done and a plain account of what came back.
