The custom already in motion

Navan is looking for these businesses every month.

Around Navan, 3,600 searches a month go looking for a restaurant, 2,900 want a hotel and 2,400 want a furniture shop. Each of those searches ends in a decision, and the decision gets taken from what the map shows or the first link beneath it.

The business winning the Navan calls you want is not doing better work than you. It has simply made itself easier to find.

You know exactly who it is. Same trade, same town, and when somebody in Kells or Kentstown goes looking, that name appears twice before yours appears at all. Its listing is complete. Its website gives every job its own page. Its reviews kept arriving long after yours dried up.

That gap will close. Navan draws custom from a wide stretch of country, and in most trades here the businesses that actually finished this work can be counted. Every month you are told how many enquiries arrived and which searches sent them, rather than where a position sat.

  1. Why another Navan business is answering your phone calls

Google discards most businesses before it shows anybody anything. What survives the cut answers four things it can measure. It does the work being asked about. It sits near the person asking. It is open when the question is put. And strangers picked it recently and left their names where anyone can read them. Survive on all four and you take a place among the three names shown on the map. Survive on two and the whole thing is decided without you.

Two is what most businesses here manage. A listing claimed years back, the category guessed, most of the services never typed in. A single page called services with six jobs stacked on it, so no search for any one of them lands on anything. Reviews that arrived all at once when the doors opened, then nothing since. And a site that mentions Navan alone, which hands every search out of Trim, Athboy and Slane to whoever wrote those towns down.

Bubblehub astronauts checking a local rank tracker and a Google Maps result for a coffee roaster

This is the biggest town in the county and it pulls custom from a long way out, which is exactly what makes the work worth doing. Somebody in Kells deciding where to drive on a Saturday is choosing off a map on a phone, and that map is made up of the businesses that finished the job and the ones that did not.

The finished ones in your trade are few. Joining them takes months instead of years, and after that a rival has to do more than you do before taking your place.

  2. Putting your name in front of Navan custom

Describe the result and the method explains itself. Somebody deciding who to ring in this town is looking at a map carrying three names, a handful of links, and a block of text Google assembled on its own. You want to be inside all three of those. Once you are, the phone behaves differently, and each month you are told which searches are behind it.

Four pieces of work stand behind that. Your Google Business Profile has to be complete and to stay complete, with the category right, every service spelled out, images taken this year, and a service area matching the ground you genuinely cover. Each service then wants a page to itself, aimed at a customer who has never crossed your door. Reviews have to keep coming from real people, asked at the right moment and answered without exception. And what is published about you, the trading name, the address and the number, has to match across the trade registers, the entry Meath Chamber holds, and whatever is left over at Local Enterprise Office Meath.

Then the part you will never look at. Loading fast enough to survive a phone on the Kells road. Redirects straightened out and dead links removed. Structured data telling Google which company this is and where it stands. And writing shaped around what somebody here needs to know before spending, so the enquiry lands warm.

If a search with real money behind it belongs to a rival, you are given its name, the work involved, and an honest estimate of the wait. The difficult ones stay on the list.

  3. Why Navan owners let us run it

Judge us on what you can confirm this afternoon rather than on how we describe ourselves. Every line below is checkable before you spend a euro, and the first report either stands it up or does not.

We have been at this since 2013, run the same way throughout. Whoever builds your campaign is working on it, so nothing gets explained to you by a person repeating a message.

The prices are printed rather than quoted, so you can size a budget without speaking to anybody. Reporting counts enquiries rather than positions, since a ranking has never covered a payroll. And the reviews you can read came from Google, each with a business name still on it.

  4. When Google writes the answer itself, Navan names appear

Look for somewhere to eat in Navan and a short written answer turns up before any result does, with two or three names inside it. ChatGPT gives names back the same way. Nothing new is being tested here. Both are scoring the same things the map scores. A listing with nothing blank on it, reviews dated this month rather than three summers ago, and pages written in the language a buyer would use.

Which makes an AI answer another kind of search result. There is nothing separate to buy, and an agency charging you for an AI package is billing twice for one piece of work. Getting mentioned comes from those four pieces done properly, plus prose a machine can quote from without twisting it. Prices, opening hours, the towns you serve, and the questions a buyer settles before committing.

The Bubblehub office with the logo on the wall, astronauts at their desks and a city skyline through the glass

All of it goes into a Navan campaign from the first fortnight rather than being sold on afterwards. Where Google offers three businesses for your trade here, yours belongs among them, and the report names the month that starts.

  5. What happens from your first message onwards

Message us or ring the number. By the next working day you will have in front of you the searches your trade gets in this part of Meath, where you rank against each of them, and the businesses above you. There is no charge, no obligation, and no problem at all if you take it elsewhere.

Decide to go ahead and the audit takes the first fortnight. Search Console gives up the searches you already appear for. A crawl lists the faults and the slow pages. Every published version of your details gets compared with the real ones. And the businesses currently above you are examined item by item, so you can see precisely what a completed job looks like in your own trade.

Month two puts foundations under it. A rebuilt listing. A service area that no longer claims ground you never reach. Corrected records. A review routine agreed with the person who sees the customer last. And tracking, so every enquiry names the search that sent it. Then the pages themselves, worked through in the order the takings suggest.

By the third month the map around your own door should be moving, with enquiries counted by search and by town. Around Navan the trade plus town searches shift first, and the ones carrying the county name take much longer. A quarter that produces nothing is described as exactly that, and we start the plan again.

  6. The Navan trades this turns into enquiries

The town’s searches show where the money moves. Restaurants take 3,600 a month, hotels 2,900, furniture shops 2,400, gyms 1,300, then barbers, hairdressers, massage and taxis on 1,000 each, with nail salons and takeaways on 880. Behind every one of those numbers there is a decision waiting to be made.

Furniture is the giveaway. Two thousand four hundred searches a month for furniture around a town this size means people are driving here to buy things they will keep for years, and those searches are settled on stock, on opening hours, on parking, and on whether the page says the item can be seen today. Any retailer with a floor to fill should treat that as the main event.

Restaurants and hotels here trade on two fronts, the local Friday evening and the visitor coming for the Boyne valley, and the map settles the first while the pages settle the second. Hotels also sell functions, a different customer booked months ahead who deserves a page of their own. The premises trades, barbers, hairdressers, gyms, nail salons and massage, come down to who is closest, still open, and reviewed lately. A taxi firm wants its number dialling at a touch, with nothing in front of it.

It is not the right buy for everybody. Where work has to come inside a fortnight, that is an ads job, and you will hear it said rather than be sold something slower. On two hundred a month, finish the listing yourself and chase a few reviews before paying an agency anything. For the rest of the businesses in this town, the work stacks up and keeps returning for years.

The price of doing this around Navan.

The bands are written down, so nobody needs to ring to find out what we charge. Navan pays at the lower end of them, because the number of businesses fighting over any one search here is smaller than a city would throw at it, and that shortens the catching up.

  • The town by itself €800 to €1,500 a month

A single premises that wants the work on its own side of Navan.

    • A listing completed, then maintained month by month
    • Separate pages per service, each able to win a search by itself
    • Published details of yours corrected wherever they sit
    • Review collecting that survives a busy month
    • A report each month tracing enquiries to searches
  • Navan, Kells and Trim €1,500 to €3,500 a month

A business drawing custom from the towns around as well, or a trade with the map already carved up.

    • Band one plus the following
    • A page for every town on your list, with real detail in it
    • Content aimed at what a buyer wants settled first
    • Links earned around Meath and inside your trade
    • Enquiries reported town by town and service by service
  • Navan selling into the country From €3,000 a month

A Navan business selling across the country, trading online, or supplying other companies.

    • Category and range work at volume
    • Publishing that keeps going rather than stopping
    • Digital PR and the coverage that carries links
    • Reporting judged against revenue

Below €400 a month there is not enough time in the budget to shift anything. How much SEO costs in Ireland works the bands out figure by figure, in hours and pages and links. Where a trade cannot pay that back inside the year, we say so at the outset.

Six answers before you ring us.

What is the outlay for a Navan business?

A single premises chasing the work on its own side of Navan belongs in band one. Put €800 to €1,500 a month beside that, covering listing work, service pages, record corrections, a review routine and the monthly report. Drawing custom from Kells, Trim and Athboy as well, or competing where the map is already crowded, puts you in band two. Expect €1,500 to €3,500 a month at that level, and Navan sits low in either.

When do the calls start coming in Navan?

Close to home first. The map tends to move inside three months, provided the listing is complete and reviews are landing again. Give the service pages four to six months. Anything carrying the county name instead of the town is slower again, and three months of nothing gets reported as three months of nothing.

We are based in Trim rather than Navan. Does that put us at a disadvantage?

On the searches closest to you it is an advantage. Nearness counts for a great deal, so a Trim business that says so properly takes Trim and the roads around it while the Navan crowd argue over Navan. Getting into Navan itself from out there takes longer and rests on the pages, and we will say which one deserves the first cheque.

Is ads money better spent?

Ads produce work next week and stop the day the budget does. What search earns keeps arriving after the invoice is settled. Plenty of clients here run both together at the start, so the leads do not dry up while the slower work beds in, and then the ad budget drops. Where the week has to be filled by Friday, ads do that and search does not.

Is the Navan map pack something we can win?

If your address and the area you work genuinely fit the search, yes, and that is normally the fastest money available. It comes out of a finished listing, reviews that keep landing, records saying the same thing, and a site that stands behind what the listing claims. Nobody has a fixed position to hand you, whatever you have been told.

Have you anybody in Navan itself?

Yes. Clients are met on Kennedy Rd in Abbeyland South, and the businesses of this town and the country around it are run from there. The head office sits in County Louth. Planning and delivery are the same small crew, so you talk to the person actually at it.

Take back the calls going elsewhere

Send us the trade and the towns it should be coming from. One working day later you get the size of that demand, your place in it, and the ground still to cover. There is nothing to pay for that.
