Offaly click prices

One Offaly click costs two cent and another costs €11.43.

Every trade is auctioned separately here, and the spread runs from two cent to €11.43. The middle of the market is €1.21 a click. Fifty people a month search for solar panels here, so taking the click on all fifty would come to about €572. A whole month of demand in the dearest trade in the county, bought outright, for less than a set of tyres.

  • An Offaly click

    €1.21

The halfway price across the Offaly trades Google has measured. Restaurants pay four cent, hotels 83 cent, carpet cleaners €1.70 and skip hire €2.76.

  • A starting ad budget

    €800 a month

Around 660 clicks at that middle price, or roughly 70 if you fit solar panels. In a county this size a bigger budget usually buys worse clicks rather than more of them.

  • Our fee for managing it

    From €450 a month + VAT

An Offaly account almost always starts at €450, which covers one channel while the month’s spend stays under €2,500. Run up to three channels, on a month of €2,500 to €6,000, and it reads €950. Past €6,000 it is 15 per cent of the month’s spend, with €1,200 sitting under it as a minimum. There is €495 to set it up, paid one time, waived at the top band.

Where the demand in a trade runs out before the budget does, the right answer is a smaller budget and a second service rather than a wider circle on the map. What pushes a click price up or down is explained by how much Google Ads costs in Ireland.

What an Offaly campaign includes every time

One build, repeated on every account, then sized against the demand that actually exists here.

A campaign for each service

Each service that earns is funded on its own, because in a county this size one of them will be carrying the month. Shopping and Performance Max go on top only when a retail feed earns them.

Phrase and exact, nothing looser

You buy the words you chose. Broad match arrives later as a contained trial, capped at a figure you set, and it ends on a date you set too.

A budget set from the demand up

Worked out from what the county actually searches for, so the money cannot wander into Kildare looking for somewhere to go.

The search terms read every week

Somebody goes through what people typed and adds the waste as negatives. At €11.43 a solar click, one stray term is most of a week.

Targeting drawn on Offaly roads

Tullamore, Birr, Edenderry or wherever you trade, mapped on the roads rather than a circle, the county edges handled deliberately, and the hours weighted to when people here genuinely search.

Every route to you counted

Calls off the ad, calls off the site and form submissions, counted one by one and proved by dialling each before launch.

The page behind every ad, checked

How fast it loads, how it is marked up and how it is worded, plus a conversion review. Where your site has no page worth landing on, we build one.

A dashboard and a monthly note

Enquiries, what they cost each, the searches responsible and every change made. Open any day, and a call as often as an Offaly account earns one.

A massage business in Offaly pays two cent a click. A solar installer pays €11.43. That is five hundred and seventy times the money for the same second of somebody’s attention.

Almost nobody quoting for Google Ads Offaly work will put that in front of you, because the sales pitch runs on daily budgets and industry averages rather than the county you actually trade in. The middle of this market is €1.21 a click. Only fifty people a month here look for solar panels, so taking the click on every one of them would come to roughly €572, which is the entire month of that demand bought outright.

We build the account around the searches worth having, stop the budget wandering out of the county, and keep your name on the billing. The month finishes with an enquiry count, a price against each of them, and the wording somebody put into Google just before ringing.

  1. Where a Google Ads Offaly budget goes when nobody is minding it

There is a fault here that does not exist in a city, and it catches almost everybody. Set a daily budget larger than the county’s demand and Google still has to spend it. So it widens. It reaches for looser matches, for people further away, for searches that carry your words but none of your intent. A skip hire firm in Tullamore ends up buying clicks in Kildare, and the monthly summary calls that growth.

The geography makes it easier still. Edenderry looks straight at Kildare and Portarlington sits on the Laois line, so a radius drawn casually around either one is spending outside the county from the first day. Google’s standard setting compounds it by targeting people who merely show an interest in your area, which includes somebody in Dublin idly reading about Birr.

Broad match finishes it off. Google inherits the decision about what your ad replies to, and it earns on the click instead of on the job. A carpet cleaner pays for somebody hunting for a rental machine. An architect pays for a student. Neither is visible unless somebody opens the search terms report, and in a neglected account nobody ever has.

Then there are the owners here who never began, having heard a figure with no county attached to it and decided the sums could not work. A restaurant in this county pays four cent a click and a windows and doors firm pays €9.11. There is no general answer. There is only your trade, in Offaly, at a price that can be known before you spend anything.

  2. What a campaign looks like when it is built for a county this size

Take the outcome first. A person in Tullamore or Banagher looks up what you sell. Yours is the first ad they meet, with the trade and the town written into it, and it leads to a page dealing with that job alone, phone number sitting at the head of it. They ring. Come month end you can read the call count, the price paid for each of them, and the words behind every one.

Building it is mostly restraint. Every service that earns takes a campaign to itself. Keywords go on phrase and exact so nobody but you picks the words. Somebody reads the search terms weekly and lengthens the negative list. Targeting goes to presence and is drawn tightly on the towns you serve, and the daily budget is pitched at what this county can genuinely supply.

That last point is the whole trick in a small market. A budget the demand cannot absorb does not sit unspent, it goes looking. So the figure is worked out from the search numbers upwards, and anything left over goes to a second service instead of a wider circle on the map.

Performance Max is left off unless a product feed argues for it, since it hides which searches were bought and here that is the only report worth having. Online sellers get Shopping. Remarketing is held back for the slow decisions, solar and kitchens and wedding work, where a household takes weeks to settle anything.

Click price then sets the pace. Skip hire is €2.76 against 110 searches a month, so that campaign chases a modest volume and wins on answering the phone. Solar is €11.43 on 50 searches, so that one buys a click or two a day, each qualified by an ad stating the price bracket plainly. Measurement is fitted and proved before anything runs, with ad calls, site calls and forms tallied separately. A strong quality score then cuts what the same slot costs you, and impression share names the portion of this small market that went elsewhere.

  3. Why an Offaly owner would put us on the account

Four things can be checked without speaking to anybody.

Google has listed this agency as a Partner since 2013, our first year trading. Google awards that badge and Google removes it, so the claim is never ours to make or to keep. Shopify, Meta and TikTok each list us as a partner, and LinkedIn has certified us, which is what lets an account here widen past search without moving anywhere.

The price is on the site. An Offaly business can work the whole thing out this evening without a call built to discover what it can bear, and the band you fall into is decided by your own monthly spend, not by the price of a click.

Bubblehub astronauts testing creatives in TikTok Ads Manager

Reported back to you are enquiries and the searches responsible, never a place on a screen. The reviews here all sit on Google under trading names anyone can go and check.

Offaly meetings happen out on the Clonbullogue Road in Tullamore. Our base is across in County Louth.

  4. The fee, the spend, and who holds the account afterwards

Google bills you for the clicks and we bill you for running them, and the two never turn up as a single figure. The card on the Google account is yours and it is charged at auction price, with none of our money added and no margin hidden inside it.

That matters most at the small budgets this county supports. A percentage of a modest Offaly budget earns an agency almost nothing, so the account gets almost nothing back. Ours is set against the size of what we are running instead, which at these budgets means one figure month after month, the same money whether the advice is to spend more or to stop.

One more thing sits inside that fee, and it is the part worth pressing any agency on. Offaly campaigns are run by our own people from beginning to end. The hands that pick the keywords are the hands writing the ads, moving the bids and drawing up the report. Ring in October about something set live in March and you get the person who set it live.

A Bubblehub astronaut pointing at a Google Ads overview graph, "Paid media that performs" on the laptop

From day one the account belongs to you, registered to your name and carrying your card. Go elsewhere and it travels with you, taking the conversion figures, the negative lists gathered month on month and the complete history of search terms. That history is why a second year is cheaper than a first. Where an agency keeps client campaigns filed under a manager account it owns, all of that stays behind.

Each month brings enquiries, a price against each, the searches responsible and a short note of the changes. Impressions and positions stay out. When money goes out and nothing comes back, that sits in the opening line rather than at the back, because a report written to read pleasantly is how an account passes a year without a bid being touched.

  5. Ads buy this month, and the slower work buys the years after it

The paid results answer today. Budget goes on, the ads appear, and an enquiry can arrive the same afternoon. It ends the hour you stop paying. Earning your way into the unpaid results underneath takes months and then keeps working long after the final invoice. In a county this size the ads generally go first, because six weeks of them separates the searches that produce work from the ones that only look as though they should.

Over the top of both, Google composes an answer that appears ahead of the results, with company names written into it. There is nothing available to buy there. It is drawn from what has decided the map for years, a listing filled in to the end, reviews that keep landing, and pages worded so a machine can take a sentence out whole.

Paid search also does one thing the slower work cannot. Fifty searches a month for solar panels, thirty for a kitchen fitter, twenty for windows and doors at €9.11. No sensible person builds and then maintains a page aimed at twenty searches a month, though a paid ad can be pointed at those twenty by Friday morning for a couple of hundred euro. In a county where every trade is a small number, that reach is most of the value on offer.

Some Offaly businesses should be told no. A job worth forty euro against an €11.43 click cannot be fixed by account management. Where a page takes six seconds to load on a handset, sort the page and leave the budget where it is. And where nobody can take a call in the middle of the day, the schedule has to say so.

  6. The Offaly trades where the click earns its keep

Lay the search numbers beside the prices and this county falls into three groups, and none of them is large.

The cheap end is very cheap. Massage takes 260 searches a month at two cent, restaurants 110 at four cent, car sales 50 at 26 cent, hotels 720 at 83 cent, car hire 50 at 77 cent and wedding venues 110 at €0.88. At those prices the click is a rounding error and the entire outcome rests on the page. Prices where they can be found, opening times that do not lie on a bank holiday, and a number that dials with one thumb.

The middle is the home and property work, which is where most of the money in this county sits. Carpet cleaning at €1.70 on 110 searches, plumbers at €0.88 on 90, skip hire at €2.76 on 110, architects at €1.95 on 50, kitchen fitters at €2.42 on 30, garden centres at €3.46 on 30 and dog grooming at €2.64 on 20. One job pays for weeks of clicking. This band is spoiled by searches that look correct and buy nothing, so the negative list does most of the work.

Then the small and dear, where the arithmetic is worth doing slowly. Solar at €11.43 on 50 searches, windows and doors at €9.11 on 20, locksmiths at €3.66, wedding photographers at €2.57. Two hundred euro can take a strong share of a whole month’s demand. Every bit of the risk moves to the ad and the page, so the price bracket goes in the ad, the obvious questions get answered before the form, and anybody who read without ringing sees you again.

There are businesses here it is wrong for. A trade running on people who know you already gains nothing from an auction. A job paying less than the price of two clicks in your line of work will not add up, and you hear that before signing. And where nobody is free to pick up the phone during working hours, wait until somebody is.

  7. Where an Offaly meeting happens in Tullamore

    Office

    Clonbullogue Road, Tullamore, Co. Offaly

    (083) 0650164

Ninety days on a small midlands account

Four stages in order. Nothing gets more money until the numbers show it should.

  1. 01

    Week one, sizing the demand

The account comes apart and so does the county. How many people actually search your trade here, what each of those clicks costs, where the budget has been leaking into Kildare or Laois, the match types, the negatives, the hours, and the quality score sitting beneath your heaviest keywords, the figure that quietly decides what you pay. With nothing built yet, the week goes on the size of the demand here, a projection of what those clicks come to, and a budget beside it.

  2. 02

Week two, building to that size

Each service takes a campaign, ads come off the searches themselves, dialling the number proves the tracking, the landing page is agreed, and the daily figure matches what the county can actually supply rather than what looks impressive on a plan. Where a decision takes weeks, display and video remarketing goes in beside the search, split by what somebody read before they left.

  3. 03

    Weeks three to six, trimming

The search terms report gets read every week and the losers taken out, bidding leans towards whatever brings enquiries, and a rival ad runs against whoever sits above you.

  4. 04

    Weeks seven to twelve, steadying

Cost per enquiry becomes a figure worth planning around, impression share shows what is still going elsewhere, and any spare budget moves to the next service rather than a wider map.

What Offaly owners ask before they start

What would this cost an Offaly business?

Two bills that never get mixed. The ad spend belongs to Google, and €800 a month suits this county, buying roughly 660 clicks at the middle price of €1.21, or about 70 for a solar installer. Our side of it has three rungs. Stay on one channel with spend beneath €2,500 in the month and it is €450, which is the rung an Offaly business is almost always on. Put up to three channels to work, spending somewhere in the €2,500 to €6,000 range, and it is €950. Climb past €6,000 and the charge becomes 15 per cent of the month’s spend, with €1,200 as low as it can land. The account opens for a one off €495, waived once monthly spend goes above €6,000. In several trades here the demand is satisfied well below €800, and the right advice is then to spend less and cover a second service. Whichever band you land in, VAT is added to the fee.

How soon would we see anything?

Ads can be live around a fortnight after you agree to go ahead, and for a plumber or a skip hire firm the first calls normally land inside seven days of spending. Reaching a cost per enquiry solid enough to budget against takes roughly three months, since weeks three to six are given over to stripping out searches that were never going to produce a job.

Is our budget too small for this to be worth it?

Small budgets work better here than almost anywhere, because the clicks are cheap and the demand is finite. What fails is a budget too big for the county, which Google will spend outside it rather than leave sitting. Under about €400 a month of spend the management fee takes more of the total than Google does, and you will be told to wait rather than sold something.

Can a solar click at €11.43 possibly pay?

One installation is worth thousands, and with 50 searches a month across the county the total outlay stays in the hundreds even taking most of them. Volume was never the risk. Paying eleven euro for somebody who was only reading is. So the ad carries a price bracket, the page settles the first three questions above the form, and anyone who read without ringing is shown the page again.

Would the money go further on search work?

Most businesses here run both in the end, with ads normally going first because six weeks of them shows which searches genuinely convert. There is demand across this county too small for anybody to justify writing a page about, twenty or thirty searches a month, and the paid results are the only route to it at all.

We are in Edenderry, right on the Kildare side. Does that matter, and who actually builds the campaign?

It matters to the targeting more than anywhere else in the county. A plain radius around Edenderry puts a fair share of the budget into another county at prices set by a market you do not serve. So the area is drawn on the roads you genuinely cover, and where Kildare trade is worth having it takes a campaign and a budget of its own rather than quietly eating this one. As to who builds it, we do, all of it. An Offaly campaign is planned, written, watched and reported on by our own people, and the account sits in your name for as long as you want it there.
