Google Ads Waterford

Hold the top of the Waterford results while the firm down the road is still thinking about it. We build the Search campaigns, keep them on the searches that end in work, and report on the enquiries rather than the clicks. Ask the price of a click for a solar installer down here before you talk to anybody. It is €12.23, out of Google's keyword data, while a restaurant click here costs €0.21.

Waterford prices

What a click costs in Waterford and what we charge.

You should be able to work this out before you speak to anybody. The click prices below are Google's own for this county, and under them sit the only two amounts you are asked for.

  • Cost per click

    €1.56

The middle of the Waterford market, with an enormous spread either side of it. Solar costs €12.23 a click here. A restaurant click costs €0.21.

  • Starting ad spend

    €500 a month

Around 320 clicks at that middle price, near €16 a day. In a county of this size that is enough to be seen by most of the people looking.

  • Management

    From €450 a month + VAT

Where the fee begins, on a single channel with a small monthly spend, and it moves up a band at a time as more spend and more channels arrive. On an account this size most of those hours go on keeping you in front of the few hundred searches that matter.

€0.21 and €12.23 are both real prices in this county, so a daily figure quoted before anybody asks what you sell is a guess. How much Google Ads costs in Ireland sets out why one trade costs many times another.

What a Waterford account gets for its money.

The smallest budget we run gets the same weekly attention as the largest. All the money decides is how big a share of this county's searches you can stand in front of.

Few searches, held properly

We would rather own two searches than appear occasionally on twenty. The list starts short and grows only when the first ones are paying.

City and county apart

Waterford city, Tramore and the Dungarvan end run as separate campaigns, so the cheapest area cannot quietly spend what the dearest one needed.

Match types locked down

Exact and phrase only. Broad match stays switched off until there is enough conversion data in the account to justify letting it out.

The food vocabulary blocked

Cheap clicks here live in restaurant and takeaway searches. Unless that is your trade, they are on the negative list before you go live.

Every call matched to a keyword

Calls, forms and bookings counted and tied to the search behind them, tested with a live call before a single advert runs. The site's speed and tracking get checked in the same pass.

Adverts with your prices in them

Price, area and proof written into the ad, so a person who cannot afford you does not cost you a click finding that out.

Seasonal budgets, not flat ones

Heating in the cold weeks, solar in spring, self storage all year. The money follows your trade's calendar rather than the accounting one.

A report in plain figures

A live dashboard, and a sit down as often as it is worth having, which on an account of this size is usually once a month. How many enquiries, from which search, at what cost each, with any line open to challenge.

A restaurant click in Waterford costs €0.21. A solar click costs €12.23. Same county, same week, same auction.

Google Ads Waterford is small enough to be held rather than fought over, and nobody tells you that. The searches behind most trades here run in the hundreds and the low thousands a month, so a careful budget can be in front of nearly everybody who looks, which the same money could never do in a bigger county. What ruins it is an account aimed at everything at once, on broad match, with nothing in place to show which clicks turned into work.

We pick the searches that end in jobs, hold those properly instead of scattering across the lot, and track every call and form so each enquiry can be traced to its source. The account carries your name. Your spend goes to Google with nothing added. The report prices every enquiry it counts, and where a trade cannot carry the cost of its clicks we will tell you that up front instead of three months in.

  1. Why a Waterford ad budget disappears without a single enquiry

The commonest fault here is spreading too thin. A few hundred euro split across eight services and eight towns is present nowhere and noticed by nobody. The account fills up with impressions, the owner sees activity on a chart, and not one search is being covered often enough for a customer to remember the name.

The second is letting broad match do the choosing. Left to itself it hunts out the cheapest clicks available, which in this county means food and takeaway searches at €0.21 whether or not you sell food. A heating engineer bidding at €6.31 can lose a month to searches about boilers in general, prices in general and other people’s brand names.

The third is geography that ignores the shape of the place. The city, Tramore and Dungarvan behave like separate markets, and one campaign covering all three at one bid gives the cheap end your money and the dear end nothing. A Dungarvan business paying city rates for city clicks it will never service is a monthly event down here.

A Bubblehub astronaut pointing at a Google Ads overview graph, "Paid media that performs" on the laptop

With none of it tracked, none of it can be fixed. Without conversion tracking the account cannot tell a €0.21 browser from a €10.31 hearing care enquiry, so the bidding treats the two as equals. That is how a small budget vanishes in a county where a small budget ought to go a long way.

Then there is the page at the end of it, which nobody looks at until the money has gone. Speed, the tracking already sitting on it, whether an enquiry can be made from a phone in one screen. Spend against a page that cannot convert never comes back, and at €12.23 a click that is a short road to giving up on the idea altogether.

  2. What a Google Ads Waterford campaign can hold for €500 a month

The outcome first. Somebody in Tramore searches for the thing you sell, your advert is the first on the page, and the call that follows is recorded against the exact keyword behind it. At the county median of €1.56, €500 a month buys around 320 clicks, near €16 a day, and in a market this size that is enough to stand in front of most of the people who matter.

That is the real argument for advertising in Waterford. Impression share is the number to watch, and here it is actually reachable. A dentist has 1,600 searches a month at €0.84 a click, so being present for the large majority of them is a question of a few hundred euro rather than a war chest. The same ambition in the capital would empty the budget before lunchtime.

So the build stays narrow on purpose. One or two services to start, exact and phrase match, small ad groups where one advert answers one search, which is what earns the quality score that keeps your price down. The city, Tramore and the west of the county run as separate campaigns on separate budgets, so the cheap area cannot swallow the dear one.

A Bubblehub PPC specialist pointing at a Google Ads campaigns screen while a colleague checks search terms on a laptop

Negatives are written before anything goes live. In this county that means blocking jobs, courses and supplier searches, and for any trade outside hospitality, the entire food and takeaway vocabulary where the cheap clicks live.

Conversion tracking goes on calls, forms and bookings and is proven with a live test call before the ads run. After that, remarketing for the slow decisions such as an €11.46 mortgage broker click, Shopping and Performance Max only if there is a product feed worth running them on, and the budget kept on the searches you chose instead of the ones Google would rather sell you. Where enough enquiries come through to earn it, we wire up the email and text follow up behind them, because in a county this size the second and third contact is often what closes the job.

  3. Why Waterford owners hand the budget over to us

Bubblehub has carried the Google Partner badge since 2013, the year the agency began trading. It can be verified in a minute, and very little else said in a sales meeting can.

Two people founded this and both still work in it. Whoever plans your campaign is the one in the account week to week, so nothing has to be explained twice to two different people.

Bubblehub astronauts reviewing Meta Ads Manager campaigns and creatives for Facebook and Instagram

Our charges are published. Reporting is built on enquiries and the search terms that led to them instead of on positions. Every review shown is a Google review, and the business that left it is named.

Clients are met on The Mall, so a Waterford meeting is held in Waterford. We run the head office out of County Louth. The names on your account do not change with the address.

  4. What the fee covers and what the account is worth to you

Two amounts leave your account and only one of them comes here. Google takes the ad spend in full, with nothing added by us on the way. Our own charge is for the work and it is published, and under €6,000 a month it holds still whether your budget goes up or down.

The account is set up in your name with your own card on it. We go on as users and you can take us off in about ten seconds. Everything it has learned stays with you, the conversion record, the search term history, the negative list assembled through a year of Waterford searches. An agency running you inside its own manager account is holding all of that, and you find out the day you ask for it back.

Our own people do every part of this. The Waterford account gets its plan, its build, its ad writing and its reporting from the same desks here, and the same faces stay on it from the first week to the last, so nobody has to be brought up to speed on your trade twice.

A Bubblehub astronaut presenting a strategy on the office screen while colleagues work at their desks

The fee pays for hours and you can ask what they bought. Search terms gone through and waste blocked. Money shifted between the city end and the Dungarvan end as each performs. Ads rewritten and set against each other properly. Tracking re-checked whenever the site changes. And a recommendation to stop a keyword when stopping it is the right call, even where that makes the account smaller.

The report lists every enquiry, the campaign and keyword that brought it, and its cost. It says plainly how often your advert went missing because the budget had run out. It never opens on impressions and never opens on a ranking. A poor month is the first thing written, along with the reason for it.

  5. How the auction, search and the AI answer share a Waterford results page

Paid search buys the top of a Waterford results page today and gives it back the day the card stops working. Search work takes months to arrive at the same place and then holds with no cost per visit. An AI answer now sits over both, naming businesses picked on evidence no budget reaches.

Running the two together is the sensible order for most businesses down here. The ads produce enquiries while the slower work is still building, and inside a month the account has told you which searches in your trade turn into customers. That is what the writing plan should then be aimed at, in that order of value.

An AI answer cannot be bought into. It is built out of a Business Profile finished to the last field, reviews that keep landing, and answers plain enough to be repeated without distortion. We do that side as well, and where it deserves the money ahead of the auction you will hear it from us.

Three times the auction is the wrong choice. An advert running while the phone sits unattended should not be running at all, because a click costs the same whether it is answered or ignored. Where your trade draws no searches in this county, no bid manufactures them. And under about a hundred euro a month you will learn more from finishing your Google Business Profile than from a handful of clicks.

  6. The Waterford trades worth advertising, and the ones that are not

Waterford’s volumes are modest and its prices are anything but uniform. Restaurants take 8,100 searches a month at €0.21 a click, hotels 2,900 at €0.92, gyms 2,400 at €1.10, massage 1,900 at €0.38, barbers 1,600, dentists 1,600 at €0.84, hairdressers 1,600 at €0.91, pharmacies 1,300 at €0.90 and taxis 1,300 at €0.42. At prices like those a small budget buys genuine presence, and the work shifts to the page and the booking behind it.

Then the trades where one job carries a season. Solar pays €12.23 a click on 170 searches a month, a mortgage broker €11.46 on 110, a painter and decorator €10.89 on 30, hearing care €10.31 on 70 and a financial advisor €8.15 on 110. Those prices make a €500 budget look thin until you price a single customer in any of them.

Self storage at €6.81 across 210 searches and recruitment at €5.86 across 260 are the steadier pair, with enough monthly volume to run all year without the budget swinging about. Heating and boiler service at €6.31 on 90 searches is the seasonal one, and that money belongs in the weeks the weather turns rather than dribbled through the summer.

The cheap busy trades need the opposite discipline. A restaurant at €0.21 or a car sales business at €0.31 can buy thousands of clicks for very little and lose every one of them on a page where nobody can book, ring or see a price.

Not everybody belongs here. If you cannot take the work on, do not buy the clicks. If your searches are counted in the tens and nothing can be answered quickly, your Business Profile earns more per euro than the auction will. And if the yearly value of a customer has never been worked out, start there, because every bid and every budget in the account follows from that one figure.

  7. Meeting Waterford clients on The Mall

    Office

The Mall, Waterford City, Co. Waterford, Ireland

    (083) 0650164

Ninety days, measured by how much of Waterford you hold.

In a county this size the question is not whether you can afford to advertise. It is how much of the demand you can cover, and these three months answer it.

  1. 01

Week one, counting what there is

Every search your trade gets across the city, Tramore and the west, added up, so you know how many there are before you decide how many of them you want.

  2. 02

Week two, two searches held properly

A short list on exact and phrase, the areas split, the blocks loaded, adverts written and a live test call proving the tracking before anything is approved.

  3. 03

Weeks three to eight, widening the hold

Waste shut off weekly and money pushed at whatever is producing calls, with a third and a fourth search added only once the first ones are paying for themselves.

  4. 04

Month three, the share you own

What each enquiry cost, how much of the county's demand you now sit in front of, and what another hundred euro a month would add to it. If the answer is nothing, we will say so.

What the businesses we run accounts for say. Every quote a Google review, left by a business trading under its own name.

Waterford questions worth asking before you spend

What is a realistic Google Ads budget in Waterford?

Ad spend of €500 a month buys around 320 clicks at the county median of €1.56, and in a market this size it is enough to be present for most of the searches you care about. The management side is banded. One channel, on less than €2,500 a month, is €450. Two or three channels, on anything from €2,500 to €6,000, is €950. If a month's spend ever tops €6,000 we move to 15% of it, and the invoice will not be smaller than €1,200. Opening an account costs €495 the once, and that is dropped entirely above €6,000 of spend. What you sell shifts that spend further than any other single thing. A taxi firm buying €0.42 clicks and a solar installer buying €12.23 clicks are running very different sums off the same starting point. Each band’s fee has VAT added on top.

Is Waterford too small for Google Ads to be worth it?

The size is the advantage. Most trades here have searches in the hundreds or low thousands a month, which means a modest budget can cover a large share of them instead of buying a sliver of a much bigger auction. A dentist has 1,600 searches a month at €0.84 a click. Being in front of most of that, month after month, is genuinely affordable in this county.

How soon does the phone start ringing?

The adverts go live on approval and the first enquiries tend to come inside two weeks. The six to eight week job is pulling the cost of an enquiry down to where you want it, since that comes out of search term history the account has to gather before anyone can act on it.

Our work is seasonal. Can the budget follow that?

It should. A boiler service at €6.31 a click wants the money in the cold weeks and almost none of it in July, and solar at €12.23 runs hardest in spring. We build and test through the quiet stretch so everything is tuned before the season arrives, then concentrate the money in the weeks that make the year.

If we stop, do we lose the account and the data?

No. It is opened in your company's name with your card on it, and we are users you add and remove. Everything stays, the conversions, the search term history, the negative list built over the year. That record is what makes the second year cheaper to run, so it should never be sitting in an agency's own account.

Do you actually work with businesses in Waterford?

Clients are met on The Mall, and the accounts we run cover the city, Tramore, Dungarvan, Lismore and out towards Ardmore. The business itself runs out of County Louth. The same people plan the account, write the ads and send you the report every month, and it stays in your own business name. The one who meets you does the work afterwards.
