Google Ads Galway

Take the top of the Galway results this afternoon and pay only when somebody clicks. We choose the searches with you, build the Search campaigns and mind them week by week. Ask any agency what a click costs an IT firm in this county before you agree a daily budget. It is €18.87, out of Google's own keyword data, and it changes the whole shape of the plan.

Galway prices

What Galway clicks cost and what running them costs.

Nobody should need a meeting to hear a price. The figures below are this county's own, taken from Google's keyword data, and between them they are the whole of what you pay.

  • Cost per click

    €1.68

The middle of a market with an extraordinary spread in it. IT support sits at €18.87 a click, hairdressers at €0.44.

  • Starting ad spend

    €600 a month

Twenty euro a day, which is roughly 360 clicks in the month at that middle price, and the money can be weighted into the weeks your trade actually trades in.

  • Management

    From €450 a month + VAT

The opening band, for one channel on a modest spend, and it climbs in published steps behind the spend and the channel count. In a seasonal county a good part of those hours goes on moving money into the weeks that carry the year.

What one customer is worth to you settles the daily figure, which is why a solar installer at €11.73 a click and a pharmacy at €0.44 cannot be planned the same way. The national version of that question is how much Google Ads costs in Ireland.

What goes into a Galway account, whatever you spend.

A small budget is minded as closely as a large one. What the money settles is which weeks of the year you can afford to be in front of these searches, never how closely the account is watched.

Budget paced to your season

Money moved into the weeks your trade actually trades in, instead of an identical daily figure running from January to December. In hospitality here that single decision is usually worth more than every bid change put together.

The search list chosen together

You see the searches, their monthly volume, their Galway click price and who else is bidding on them, then decide where the budget goes before anything is built.

City, towns and Connemara apart

Separate campaigns and budgets by area, so one busy weekend in Salthill cannot quietly spend what was meant for Tuam.

Exact and phrase match only

Broad match stays off until the account has enough conversion data to be trusted with it, which for most Galway budgets means never.

Location set to presence

You pay for people who are here, not for everybody in the world with an interest in the place. It is one setting and it saves thousands.

Negatives added weekly

Courses, jobs, suppliers and the holiday vocabulary blocked from the start, then topped up off the search terms report every week.

Every enquiry counted

Calls, forms, bookings and messages tracked, with the keyword behind each ring recorded. It is proved with a real call before spend starts, and bidding waits until that works.

A report without jargon

A live dashboard open to you any day, and a sit down as often as the season needs one, weekly when the phone is busy and monthly when it is not. Enquiries, their source and their cost, in language you can take to an accountant.

Galway has a €0.48 click and an €18.87 click in the same county. Which of them you buy decides everything else.

Google Ads Galway comes down to that choice long before it comes down to budget. Restaurants take 18,100 searches a month at €0.48 while IT support takes 40 at €18.87, and an account pointed at the wrong end of that spread will burn a quarter before anybody notices. Most of the accounts handed to us never made the choice at all. Broad match went on, Google picked the searches, and the money drifted towards whatever clicks were cheapest to sell.

We make that choice with you, price each search out of Google’s own data, and build the campaign around the ones that end in work. Conversion tracking goes on every call, form and booking, so the report names which search produced which enquiry and what it cost. The account stays in your name, the spend reaches Google untouched, and where the numbers will not stand up in your trade we say so early rather than late.

  1. The searches your Galway budget is buying without you choosing them

Open the search terms report on an account down here and the pattern repeats. A good share of the money went on searches that were never the plan. A dentist bidding at €2.16 has paid for people hunting training courses, public clinics and prices in another country. A hotel at €1.21 has bought clicks from somebody planning a trip eight months out who will book through a platform anyway.

Under that sits a targeting box nobody opened. Galway attracts searches from people who are not in Galway and are not coming, and the location option that ships switched on counts anybody with an interest in the place as a target worth paying for. In a county like this one that default is the most expensive setting in the whole product.

Then the calendar. Demand here rises and falls hard through the year and a flat daily budget ignores that completely. An account left on the same figure from January to December overpays in the quiet weeks and runs dry in the ones that mattered, and the owner never spots it because the monthly total looks identical either way.

One more thing gets skipped before launch and it costs more than any of it. Nobody looks at the website. Page speed, whether the tracking works, whether the page an advert points at can take a booking on a phone without hunting for the button. Money spent against a page that cannot convert is money you will not see again, and it is far cheaper to know that in week one than in month four.

If you have not started yet, the usual reason is that somebody quoted a daily budget before asking what you sell. Fifteen euro a day is a sensible opening for a barber and a waste of time for a firm buying €18.87 clicks. The daily figure is the last decision to make, not the first.

  2. What a Google Ads Galway campaign buys for €600 a month

Take what you get first. Somebody in Oranmore looks for what you do, your advert is sitting at the top carrying your price and a tappable number, and the enquiry lands in the report beside the exact keyword that brought it. At the county median of €1.68, €600 a month buys around 360 clicks, which works out near €20 a day.

The build starts with a decision about which half of Galway’s demand you want. The busy cheap searches, restaurants at €0.48, hairdressers at €0.44, pharmacies at €0.44, want volume and a page that turns a decent share of it into bookings. The thin dear searches, solar at €11.73 across 390 a month, mortgage brokers at €9.01, hearing care at €8.55, want very little traffic and a great deal of care about which traffic it is.

Then the structure. Exact and phrase match only, one advert to an idea, and separate campaigns for the city, the towns and Connemara so a Clifden budget cannot be swallowed by Salthill on a sunny weekend. Small ad groups are what earn the quality score, and a quality score worth having is how a Tuam business gets above a national advertiser without outbidding one.

Negatives are written before launch and added to every week after it. In this county the list takes in course and training searches, the names of towns nobody will drive to, and the entire vocabulary of holidays for any trade that is not selling one.

Conversion tracking covers calls, forms and bookings before any automated bid strategy is allowed near the account. After that, remarketing for the slow decisions, Shopping and Performance Max where a product feed exists to run them on, and the budget paced so the weeks that matter in your trade get the money instead of February. Where the season does the selling we put the same offer on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok as well, and on Spotify for the businesses whose customers are already in the car on the way here.

  3. The reasons Galway owners stay with us past the first quarter

Bubblehub has held Google Partner status since 2013, the year the agency opened its doors. You can confirm that yourself inside a minute, which puts it ahead of almost everything else said in a sales meeting.

Two founders started this and both are still at it. The one who plans your campaign is the one who then works in it, so nothing gets relayed through a person in the middle.

A Bubblehub astronaut presenting a strategy on the office screen while colleagues work at their desks

Our prices are on the site. What gets reported is enquiries and the searches behind them, not positions. Each review displayed came off Google, showing the business that posted it.

Galway meetings happen at Eyre Square, and the accounts we run reach from Ballinasloe out to Clifden. Our own base is in County Louth, and the account does not change hands because of it.

  4. What the management fee pays for and what the account keeps

Two payments leave every month and they are unrelated. Google is paid for the clicks, on your own card, with nothing added in between. We invoice for the work at a published figure, which means our income does not climb when your spend does.

The account belongs to your business. We go on as users, put there by you and taken off by you. Leave and you keep the entire history, every conversion recorded, every search term logged, every negative added across a year of running in this county. That record is why the second year costs less to run than the first, and why an agency holding your account inside its own is holding something that belongs to you.

The work sits with the people you meet. Your Galway campaign is planned, built and reported on inside this agency, and your own business name sits on the account the whole way through. It is why an answer about last month arrives in the same conversation instead of the following week.

A Bubblehub astronaut at three monitors showing Google Ads campaigns and performance graphs

The fee pays for time and you are owed an answer about where it went. Going through search terms and cutting waste. Moving budget between the city and the towns as they perform differently. Writing adverts and testing them against each other properly. Fixing tracking after a website update. Telling you to stop paying for a keyword even when stopping it makes the account smaller.

Each month the report lists your enquiries, the campaign and keyword that produced them, and what they cost apiece. It names the days your advert went dark because the money had gone, which is what impression share lost to budget means with the jargon taken off. Impressions do not open it. A ranking does not open it. A poor month is the first thing in there, with the reason set beside it.

  5. Where the auction ends and the rest of Galway search begins

Paid search has your name over the Galway listings within hours and removes it the moment the card stops working. Search work climbs slowly and then holds with no charge per click. Over the top of both sits an AI answer that now names businesses, assembled from evidence with no price on it.

The real gain from running the two at once is what the auction teaches you. Inside a month the account knows which searches produce enquiries in your trade in this county and which only produce traffic. No keyword tool gives you that, and it is the best brief a writing plan will ever get.

None of the AI answer is purchasable. It comes out of a Business Profile with every field done, reviews still landing, and answers written plainly enough to be quoted straight. That work is on our list too, and we will recommend it ahead of the auction when it is the better buy for you.

Three times the auction is the wrong tool. If the phone goes unanswered while the ads are live, switch them off until somebody can pick up, because a click that never gets a call back is the dearest thing you will buy all month. If nobody searches for what you sell, no budget manufactures the demand. And when the whole budget comes to two hundred a month, pick one town and one service, because that teaches you more than the entire county ever will.

  6. Which Galway trades pay this back, and which do not

The county’s demand splits cleanly in two. On one side, restaurants at 18,100 searches a month and €0.48 a click, hotels 9,900 at €1.21 a click, massage 6,600 at €0.62, hairdressers 4,400 at €0.44, dentists and bed and breakfasts on 2,900 apiece, barbers 2,400, then furniture shops and pharmacies at 1,900. Cheap clicks in quantity, where the account is easy to fill and hard to make profitable, since the whole thing rests on how many of those visitors go on to book.

On the other side sit the small dear searches. IT support at €18.87 a click on 40 searches a month, solar at €11.73 on 390, mortgage brokers at €9.01 on 260, hearing care at €8.55 on 170, financial advisors at €8.11 on 260. Forty searches a month sounds like nothing until you price a single client. Those accounts want a small budget, a long negative list, and a phone answered by somebody who can talk about the job.

Hospitality carries the extra problem of the calendar. A Salthill restaurant and a Clifden guesthouse make their year in a handful of weeks, so the budget belongs in those weeks rather than smeared evenly over twelve months. The campaign gets built through the winter and turned up when demand arrives, and the same holds for any trade selling to visitors.

Dentists at €2.16 on 2,900 searches and car hire at €1.77 on 1,600 sit in the middle, which is the most forgiving place to start. Enough volume to learn from within a month, and a click dear enough that tidying the account shows up in the figures straight away.

It will not pay for everybody. A business already turning work away should sort out capacity before buying traffic. If your searches number in the tens and nobody can respond inside the hour, the money does more finishing your Business Profile. A business that has never worked out the yearly value of a client should settle that before it bids on anything.

  7. Sitting down with Galway clients at Eyre Square

    Office

    Eyre Square, Galway, Ireland

    (083) 0650164

Ninety days built around the Galway season.

A seasonal county does not run its first quarter the way a city does. The account is finished while demand is light and opened up when the searches arrive, and this is how those weeks are spent.

  1. 01

The quiet weeks, choosing what to buy

Every search your trade gets in this county priced out, with the demand behind it and the months it arrives in, so the list is agreed long before the season is anywhere near.

  2. 02

    A fortnight of building

Campaigns split by area, the blocks written in, adverts drafted, landing pages agreed and tracking proved with a real call, so the account is finished well ahead of the weeks it has to work in.

  3. 03

The run up, on a small budget

Live and learning while demand is still light. Each week's search terms get cleaned and the price of an enquiry settles while the stakes are low.

  4. 04

The busy weeks, at full budget

The money goes in when the searches do. By the end you have what an enquiry costs in season and out of it, which is the figure next year's budget is built from.

What Galway owners ask before a budget is agreed

How much should a Galway business put behind Google Ads?

Ad spend of €600 a month is a fair opening in this county, which buys around 360 clicks at the €1.68 median. Management is priced by how much is running. Keep to one channel, with the month's spend below €2,500, and you are at €450. Run as many as three channels, with the month falling between €2,500 and €6,000, and you are at €950. In a month where spend clears €6,000 the fee becomes 15% of it, never invoiced at less than €1,200. There is a setup charge of €495 the first time, and it does not apply once monthly spend is over €6,000. Your trade changes the ad spend more than anything else. A hairdresser at €0.44 a click and a solar installer at €11.73 a click are playing two different games with the same money. Each price there is before VAT, which goes on top.

Is €15 a day enough to get anywhere in Galway?

For a barber, a nail salon or a takeaway, yes. At €0.44 to €1 a click that is fifteen to thirty-four clicks a day, which is real volume, and the work then sits almost entirely in the landing page. For anything in the dear half of the county, €15 a day buys just over one click a day in solar and less than one in IT support, which is far too little to learn anything from. The honest answer changes with the trade, which is why nobody should quote you a daily figure before asking what you do.

How quickly do enquiries start?

Clicks start as soon as the adverts are approved, and enquiries normally follow within a fortnight. The figure worth watching is what each enquiry costs, and that settles around weeks six to eight once the account holds enough search term history to cut the waste out.

We are seasonal. Does that work with ads?

It suits them better than it suits anything else, because you can switch spend on and off by the week. Build and test in the winter so the account is already sharp when the season starts, put the budget into the weeks that carry the year, and pull it back out afterwards. A flat daily budget across twelve months is the most common mistake made by Galway hospitality.

Who holds the account and the data?

You do. The account sits under your business with your billing attached, and our access is a user permission, nothing more. Leave and you switch that permission off while the conversion history, the search terms and the negative lists all stay put. That history is what makes year two cheaper to run than year one, so it matters who holds it.

Do you actually work in Galway?

Clients are met at Eyre Square, and the accounts we run go from Ballinasloe and Athenry out through Moycullen and into Connemara. County Louth holds the head office. The work stays with our own team at either address, and the account is registered to your business rather than parked in ours. Whoever sits down with you is whoever works the account afterwards.
