Buy the top of the Clare results this week instead of waiting a year to earn it. We build and run the search campaigns that put you in front of somebody in Ennis or Shannon the second they start hunting for whatever you sell. The prices are on the site, including what a click actually costs in your trade here. Ring any other agency and ask what a Clare plumbing click goes for, and see whether the answer arrives with a figure attached.

What a click costs here
One Clare click is worth twenty of another.
Google prices every trade on its own, and Clare has one of the wider spreads in the country. The middle of the market here is €1.22 a click. A restaurant click is seven cent. A mortgage broker click is €17.29. Those three figures settle how a budget should be built long before anybody writes an ad.
A Clare click
€1.22
The midpoint of every Clare trade Google has priced. Hotels pay 65 cent, plumbers €1.08, skip hire €2.79 and solar installers €13.35.
A starting ad budget
€1,000 a month
About 820 clicks at the county median, or roughly 75 if you fit solar panels. Your trade decides which of those two campaigns you are actually running.
The management fee
From €450 a month + VAT
One channel while spend stays under €2,500 is the €450 band, and most of Clare never leaves it. Three channels takes it to €950 once spend is past €2,500, and over €6,000 we move to 15 per cent of spend, floored at €1,200. Setup, €495, is waived above that.
Under about €1,000 a month of spend the fee eats too much of the total, and waiting is the better advice, which is what you will get. Trade by trade click prices sit inside how much Google Ads costs in Ireland.
What is in every Clare campaign we run
The same build every time, then the parts that shift with your trade and with what a click goes for in it.
01
A Search campaign for each service
One campaign per thing that earns, so budget can be moved to whatever is producing that month instead of being averaged across everything. Shopping and Performance Max go in beside it where a product feed earns its place.
02
Match types you chose, not Google
Phrase and exact, so your ad answers the words you picked. Broad match goes in only as a controlled experiment with its own budget.
03
A negative keyword list that keeps growing
Free, jobs, courses, wholesale, salary and the rest, pulled from the search terms report each week and blocked before they cost you twice.
04
Location targeting drawn on the roads
Presence only, never interest, so the money goes on people standing in Clare rather than somebody in Dublin reading about Doolin.
05
Conversion tracking wired in first
Calls from the ad, calls from the site and form fills, all counted, so cost per enquiry is a real number from the first week.
06
The pages checked before you spend
A technical and on-page pass over whatever the ads point at, with a conversion review of each one. Where your site has nowhere sensible to send a click, we build the page.
07
Bids set against cost per enquiry
Not clicks, not position. Where the data is thin, manual control stays on until there is enough of it for Google to bid sensibly.
08
A live dashboard and a plain monthly read
Enquiries, cost per enquiry, the searches behind them and everything that changed, open to you any day of the week, with a call as often as the size of the account earns one.
A click in Clare costs anything from seven cent to seventeen euro twenty nine, and almost every account here is built as though they all cost the same.
The people who go looking for Google Ads Clare help have usually paid for clicks already. A card went on the account, a campaign was switched on, and the money left in a steady line while the phone stayed quiet. Then somebody suggested the budget was too small. The budget went up and nothing changed except the size of the bill at the end of the month.
That account gets stripped back and rebuilt around the Clare searches that carry money, with the wrong places and the wrong words locked out before a euro moves. The account stays in your name and on your card. Each month brings a count of enquiries, the cost of each one, and the words typed into Google before the call.
01
Why the money keeps leaving and the phone stays quiet
Most Clare accounts I am handed were built one afternoon years ago and never touched again. The keywords sit on broad match, which hands Google the decision about what your ad shows for, and Google is paid by the click rather than by the enquiry. So a plumber in Ennis pays for somebody reading up on boiler warranties, and a wedding venue pays for a student’s essay. Nobody notices, because the only line anybody reads says clicks went up.
Then the map. Ennis is twenty five minutes from Limerick city and Shannon nearer again, so a radius drawn around either swallows a city with more advertisers, higher bids and customers who will never cross the water to you. The default setting worsens it, reaching people merely interested in your area as well as those standing in it. Half a Clare budget can go on Limerick before anybody checks the location report.
The third fault is the landing page, nearly always the home page. Somebody searches for one specific job, clicks an ad about that job, and lands on a page listing eight services with a form at the bottom. They leave. The click is paid for either way, and at these prices a tree surgeon has handed over €9.54 for somebody to read two lines about when the company was founded.
Then the owner who never started, who heard a figure from a cousin in another trade and decided paid search could not work here. With clicks at seven cent in some Clare trades and over seventeen euro in others, a figure heard second hand tells you nothing about your own.
02
What a Google Ads Clare campaign looks like by the third month
Start with the result. Somebody in Ennis or Kilrush searches for the exact job you do. Your ad is the first line on the page, naming the job and the town, and the click lands on a page about that job with your number across the top. They ring. At month end you see how many rang, what each cost and which search sent it.
Getting there begins with subtraction. Search campaigns only, one per service that earns, on phrase and exact match so you pay for the words you picked. A negative keyword list that grows every week, because the cheapest improvement in any account is the search you stop buying. Location targeting set to presence rather than interest, drawn around the roads you genuinely drive, with Limerick city outside the line unless you want it inside.
Performance Max stays switched off unless there is a product feed to justify it. It hides the search terms, and in a county with these volumes that report is the one you cannot lose sight of. Shopping goes in where a Clare business sells online and the feed is clean. Remarketing goes in where the decision takes weeks, which here means wedding venues and solar.
The click prices decide the shape. A hotel click is 65 cent against 3,600 hotel searches a month here, so that account runs on volume, ad scheduling and filling the shoulder weeks. A solar installer pays €13.35 on 110 searches, so that account is a few clicks a week at the outside, every one qualified, with the price bracket said out loud in the ad to keep browsers off it.
Conversion tracking goes in before anything goes live. Calls from the ad, calls from the website, forms, and where the phone system allows it, the calls that ran long enough to be real. Quality score follows from the ad matching the search and the page matching the ad, and a better one buys the same spot for less. Impression share then shows how much demand you are missing, which is the number that decides whether the budget rises.
03
Why a Clare owner would put the account in our hands
The Google Partner badge at the top of the screen dates from 2013, which is when the agency started trading. Google issues it, Google takes it back, and you are free to check that for yourself. We carry partner standing with Meta, Shopify and TikTok as well, which starts to matter the day a hotel here wants Instagram running beside the search.
Every fee is printed on the site, so a Clare business can work this out at the kitchen table on a Sunday night, without a discovery call built to find its ceiling.
The report counts enquiries and the searches behind them. A click has never once been a customer and an impression never paid anybody a wage. Every review you see was left on Google by a business happy to have its name sitting beside it.
Clare meetings happen on Abbey Street in Ennis, so there is a table to sit at without driving to Dublin. Head office sits in County Louth.
04
What the Clare fee covers, and what leaves with you
Two different sums leave a Clare bank account every month, and confusing them is where this usually goes wrong. One goes to Google for clicks. The other pays somebody to run it. Our management fee covers the second. The first we never touch. Google bills your own card at the price Google set, and not a cent is added on the way past.
That matters more in a small county than a large one. The fee answers to the size of the account rather than to the price of a click, so it holds where it is when the auction turns dear and holds there when you cut the budget back. Advice about your budget arrives straight because of that.
The fee buys one more thing worth stating plainly. Every Clare account is run here by our own team. Whoever builds it writes the ads, reads the search terms on a Monday and writes up what the month produced, and the same faces stay on it for as long as you keep us.
The account opens in your name, on your billing details, and stays that way. Go elsewhere next year and you take it with you, along with the conversion history, the negative keyword lists and years of search terms. Agencies that run client campaigns inside their own manager account keep every bit of that, and the next agency starts from nothing while you pay for the same lesson twice.
The report counts enquiries, cost per enquiry, and the words people typed before they got in touch. Not impressions, and not the position the ad held on a Tuesday. If a campaign is spending and not producing, that goes in the first paragraph with what is being done about it, because the polite version of that report is how accounts end up untouched for two years.

Where paid search stops and the slower work starts
Ads put you at the top of a Clare results page this afternoon. Set a budget, the ads go live, and an enquiry can land before you close up. It stops the day the card stops. The work that earns a place in the results underneath takes months and keeps paying long after the invoices end. Two different purchases, and most Clare businesses should own both.
Above the pair of them Google now writes an answer that prints ahead of every result, with business names inside it. No budget buys a place in it. It is assembled out of what the map has read for years, a listing finished to the last field, reviews still arriving, and pages stating in plain words what you sell and where. Ads still appear above that answer, which is the practical reason the top is worth buying while the slow work takes hold underneath.
The order that usually works here is ads first, then everything else. Six weeks of paid search tells you which searches produce enquiries and what each is worth, and that list is what the pages should be written about. Guessing without the data is where the wasted year goes.
There are times to say no. If your site takes six seconds to open on a phone, fix that before buying traffic for it. If nobody answers between twelve and two, the ad schedule has to know or the money goes in the bin. And if your trade shows ten searches a month in the county, as mortgage brokers do here, a whole month of Clare demand is smaller than one day of a city budget, so the targeting goes wider or the money belongs elsewhere.
06
The Clare trades that get their money back on a click
The click prices sort the county into three kinds of business, each needing an account built differently. The visitor trades are cheap to advertise and enormous. Hotels run to 3,600 searches a month at 65 cent, wedding venues 320 at 65 cent, restaurants 260 at seven cent, bed and breakfasts 90 at 83 cent. At those prices the click is nearly free and the whole job is the page it lands on. Rooms, dates, the price, the drive from the cliffs, and a booking button that works with a thumb. These accounts have a season, so the budget should climb in April and be near zero by November.
The property and home trades sit in the middle and pay back on the job. Skip hire is €2.79 a click on 140 searches a month, plumbers €1.08 on 110, tree surgeons €9.54 on 40, garage doors €4.71 and heating engineers €4.43. One job covers a fortnight of clicks, so the arithmetic is comfortable, provided the ad says what you do and the negative list keeps you clear of job adverts.
Then the small and expensive. Solar panels at €13.35, mortgage brokers at €17.29, blinds at €6.90, financial advisers at €6.00, accountants at €4.50. Ten to a hundred and ten searches a month, and a click that costs what a newspaper ad used to. These accounts live or die on the landing page, because you cannot afford to buy the same person twice over. Name the price bracket and put the qualifying question in the ad.
It suits some Clare businesses badly. Sell one thing to fifteen buyers in the country a year and paid search will not find them here, and we would tell you that instead of billing for the attempt. If your margin on a job is under fifty euro the sums do not come out. And if the phone cannot be answered the week the ads go live, wait.
Nothing goes live until the counting works, and nothing scales until the counting says it should.

The opening week
Search terms, negatives, match types, location settings, what the last twelve months truly cost per enquiry, and the quality score on the keywords taking most of your impressions, which is where an old account is usually overpaying without knowing it. With no account yet, we price your trade across Clare instead, with the real search volumes behind it and a budget proposal built on them.
0201234567890123456789
The build week
Campaigns per service, ads written against real searches, tracking wired in and tested, landing pages agreed, and a daily budget set at a level that can be judged inside a month. Where the trade earns it, a Facebook and Instagram campaign is built off the same plan.
0301234567890123456789
The pruning weeks
Every search term read, the wasteful ones killed, bids moved towards what converts, and the ad copy tried against whoever is sitting above you on the page.
0401234567890123456789
The scaling weeks
Cost per enquiry steady enough to trust, impression share showing what is still being left on the table, and budget moved to the campaigns that earned it.

What Clare owners ask before they ring about ads
01What would paid search cost a Clare business?
Two bills, kept well apart. Google takes the ad spend, and a sensible opening figure here is €1,000 a month, which buys roughly 820 clicks at the county middle of €1.22, or around 75 if you fit solar panels. What we charge depends on how much is running through the account. Keep to one channel and hold monthly spend beneath €2,500 and it is €450, which is where nearly every business in this county sits. Widen to three channels, anywhere from €2,500 up to €6,000 of spend, and the figure is €950. Beyond €6,000 in a month it changes to 15 per cent of what you spend, and it never drops under €1,200. Setting an account up is €495 the once, and that disappears for anybody spending over €6,000. Spend much under €1,000 and the fee becomes too large a slice of the whole thing to justify. Every one of those fees is plus VAT.
02How quickly does the phone start ringing?
Ads can be live within a fortnight of you saying yes, and in trades like plumbing or skip hire the first enquiries usually arrive inside the first week of spending. What takes ninety days is a cost per enquiry you can trust. The first six weeks are mostly about cutting the searches that waste money, so the number improves steadily rather than arriving right.
03If we stop working with you, do we lose the account?
No. The name on it is yours and so is the card, so the whole thing stays with you, conversion history, negative lists and the record of every search term it ever logged. That history is what makes the second year cheaper than the first, and handing it over is the whole point of setting the account up that way.
04A solar click here is €13.35. Can that possibly pay?
It pays when one installation is worth thousands and the page does its share of the work. At 110 searches a month in Clare you are not going to spend a fortune even if you win most of them, so the danger is not volume, it is buying the same person three times or buying somebody who was only curious. That is settled by naming a price bracket in the ad and answering the obvious questions on the page before the form.
05Should we be doing search work instead of paying for clicks?
Most Clare businesses should end up doing both, and the order matters. Ads tell you inside six weeks which searches turn into work and what each one is worth, which is exactly the list worth writing pages around. Where the work has to come in before the end of this month, ads are the only truthful answer. If nothing has to happen until next summer, the money goes further on the slower work.
06We are out in Kilrush rather than Ennis. Does that hurt us, and who ends up running the account?
It changes the targeting and very little else. Google shows ads to the person searching wherever they stand, so a Kilrush business can bid on west Clare and Loop Head traffic while the Ennis crowd bid against each other. The one thing to watch from that end of the county is the radius, because a lazy circle out there prices in a lot of water and a lot of Kerry. On the second half of that, the Clare work sits with our own team. The person who sets an account up is in it every week, and is the one who picks up when you ring about it.
