Small county, real money

We hold first place for SEO Mayo. The same work does the same thing for a plumber in Ballina or a venue in Westport.
Meanwhile there is somebody in Castlebar or Ballina picking up the calls you would have taken. Not a better operator, just an easier one to find. Their profile is finished, their website says which towns they cover, and somebody there asks every customer for a review. Yours says Mayo, once, on a page that lists everything you do in one go.
In a county this size that turns around inside a couple of quarters. Most trades here have two or three businesses competing properly for a search, and whoever comes second is a long way back once you are in front. We do the work, and the report counts the calls rather than the rankings.
Google has no opinion about the quality of your work. It has a list of things it needs to know, and it hands the map to whoever supplies them. What is this business, where is it, is it open now, and have people chosen it lately. Four answers and you are in the top three. Two answers and you are somewhere nobody scrolls to.
Distance does the rest, and in Mayo distance is real. Belmullet to Castlebar is over an hour and nobody drives that for a haircut. Every town here runs its own results, so Westport, Ballina, Claremorris and Swinford are separate prizes, and each goes to whoever has said plainly that they work there.

Which is why the business ahead of you is usually just the one that filled things in. Its profile has the right category and all of its services. Its website has a page for the job somebody actually searched for. Its reviews carry dates from this year. None of that is talent. It is a couple of afternoons, repeated.
The size of the county is the opportunity in it. In most Mayo trades there is no queue for first place, because the search numbers look small enough to ignore. They are not small to the business that gets them, and once yours is the complete name on that short list it holds for years.
Think about what the money actually delivers. A couple in Westport starts looking for a wedding venue, or a builder in Ballina needs a skip by Thursday. Yours is the business Google shows them, first in the map with a number they can press, then in the results, then inside the answer written across the top. They ring you. The report names the search that sent them.
There are four pieces of work behind that. Your Google profile completed and kept accurate, every service on it, pictures taken this year, hours that are right at Easter, and the towns you cover written in. A page for each thing you sell, so somebody hunting for that one thing lands on it. Reviews asked for every time a job ends, and replied to. And your name, address and number saying the same thing everywhere they appear, on the directories, on Castlebar Chamber and Westport Chamber, and on Local Enterprise Office Mayo.

Then the quieter work. A site that opens fast on a phone out the Achill road, pages marked so Google knows the business and the address behind each one, and writing that deals with the questions Mayo customers ask before they part with money. If a search is worth having and somebody else has it, you will be told which, what it needs, and when it should turn.
The proof is where you are standing. Search SEO Mayo and ours is the first name, put there by the same work we would put into yours, with nobody paying us to do it. Any agency can print a promise. Very few can be checked in a single search.
Bubblehub started in 2013 with two founders, and whoever writes your plan is whoever carries it out. You talk to the person doing it, which means no handover notes and no waiting a week to hear what was done.
Everything we charge is published, so there is no discovery call standing between you and the price. The report each month is a tally of enquiries, because rankings do not pay invoices. The reviews here are Google reviews, carrying the names of the businesses that left them.

Mayo clients are met at Market Square in Castlebar, a fair drive from most of the county but not a long one. The office is in County Louth. Either way the same people are on it.
Google writes an answer above the results now for a great many searches, and it names businesses inside it. Ask ChatGPT where to find something in Mayo and it does the same. Neither is guessing. They read what the map reads, a profile with everything filled in, reviews from the last few months, and pages that spell out the work and the places you do it in. An AI answer is another search result wearing a different coat, and the same work wins both.
There is no extra product for it and nobody should be charging you for one. It comes out of the same jobs, as long as the page states things a machine can quote back correctly. The prices, the opening times, the places you will drive to, and the answers people want before they commit, in text that can be read straight off the screen.

It is in every Mayo campaign and it is not a line on the invoice. When Google answers a question about your trade in your town by naming two or three businesses, the point is that you are one of them, and the report says the month that started.
Send the form or ring. Inside one working day you get back the list of searches Mayo makes in your line of work, the number on each one, where you show up now and who is above you. No charge for it, and no follow up you have to dodge.
If it goes ahead, the first two weeks are measurement. What you rank for now, what the website is getting in its own way, which listings are wrong, and what the two or three names ahead of you have already done.
The month after that goes on repair. The profile gets finished, the listings get corrected, the worst of the technical faults get cleared, and a review gets asked for as part of closing every job. Tracking goes on at the start so the change can be measured. Then pages, one service at a time and one town at a time.
Ninety days in you should be in the map for the searches happening around you, and the report should tie the enquiries to the searches and towns behind them. Mayo’s town searches land first, and the county term comes along behind them once those pages settle. If nothing has moved in a quarter, that goes in the report and we change the plan.
The numbers here are small and the jobs behind them are not. Hotels take 2,900 searches a month. Massage runs at 260. Car sales, skip hire and wedding venues sit at 210 each, car hire and van hire at 170, bed and breakfasts, furniture shops and restaurants at 140. Those are not big numbers. They are big purchases.
A wedding venue on 210 searches a month is looking at couples who will spend thousands, and they compare three or four places before visiting one. A car dealer on 210 is dealing with somebody who has been turning it over for a month. Furniture at 140 ends in a delivery date. Pages for those have to carry prices, photographs, availability and a straight answer to whatever people are too polite to ask.
The hotel line at 2,900 is a different fight, mostly Westport, Knock and the coast, and mostly against booking sites rather than other hotels. Winning your own name back and making the direct booking the easy one is where that money sits. Car hire and van hire on 170 are Knock airport searches as much as county ones, and they go to whoever is easiest to find with something available.
Everything else here gets searched for town by town rather than county wide, which is why a Castlebar page or a Ballina page beats a county page for most trades. It does not suit everyone, mind. If the work has to come in this week, that is an ads job and we will say so. With a couple of hundred a month, finish your own profile first and keep the money.
The bands are published so nobody has to ring and ask what we charge. Mayo sits at the bottom of them. A trade competing inside one town here is up against two or three businesses rather than thirty, so the smallest band does real work and most businesses never need the others.
A business working Castlebar, Westport, Ballina or any one of the county's towns.
A business covering the county, or selling into Sligo, Roscommon and Galway as well.
A Mayo business selling nationally, exporting, or shipping out of here.
Below €400 a month is a few hours of upkeep and not a campaign. What each band pays for, in hours and pages and links, is written out in how much SEO costs in Ireland, band by band. If it does not add up for your trade yet, we will say so early.
We heard about Bubblehub Media from a really satisfied client of theirs, and similarly our experience has been brilliant.
We recently worked with Bubblehub on building our new custom e-commerce website and are delighted with the result.
We've been using Sam and Dave at Bubble Hub for a few years now after switching from a previous provider who didn't even notice when a few of our sites got hacked.
Absolutely fantastic service every time from Bubblehub. I use them for all website needs, starting from initial web design, all the way to SEO and everything in between.
One town and its catchment costs €800 to €1,500 a month. That takes in the profile, a page per service, the listings, reviews and a monthly report. Taking the whole county, or selling into the counties beside it, works out at €1,500 to €3,500 a month all in.
The map usually moves within three months of the profile being put right and the reviews starting again. Service pages take a season to settle. Mayo moves quicker than a city does, because so few businesses here are doing the work at all.
Small is what makes it work. Erris searches go to Erris businesses, so naming Belmullet, Bangor and Ballycroy on your pages takes that corner of the county without an argument. What loses you Belmullet is claiming the whole county on a profile that should be pointed at one place.
In a trade with a couple of hundred searches a month, ads spend fast and stop the moment you stop. The free result costs more to win and then keeps working. Run ads for a season if you have rooms or a venue to fill, and put the rest into the work that lasts.
Where your address and the area you serve fit the search, yes, and here it is the quickest thing to move because so few profiles in the county are finished. Nobody can promise a fixed position, since Google decides it for each person searching. What you get is the work and a report showing what the phone did.
Yes. Clients are met at Market Square in Castlebar, which most of the county can reach in under an hour. Our own base is County Louth, and one team looks after the campaign no matter which county the client trades in.
