This page explains the cookies bubblehub.ie can set, and why you will not have any of the optional ones unless you say so.
Nothing is measured until you choose
When you arrive for the first time, the analytics and advertising cookies are switched off. Google’s tags are on the page, but they are told to store nothing. They stay that way unless you accept on the banner, and the site works the same either way.
What we set if you accept
Accepting turns on Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag. Between them they record which pages you look at, how you arrived, roughly where in the world you are, and whether a visit ended in an enquiry. That tells us which of our own pages are worth keeping and which advertising is worth paying for. It is not used to identify you by name.
The one thing we store either way
Your answer to the banner is kept in your own browser under the name bh-consent. It is not a tracking cookie and it never leaves your device. Its only job is to stop the banner asking again on every page. If you decline, that is what it remembers.
Changing your mind
Clear your browser’s site data for bubblehub.ie and your answer goes with it. The banner will ask again the next time you visit, and you can answer differently. Your browser settings can also block cookies from this site entirely, and nothing here will stop that working.
Cookies we do not set
There is no shop on this site, so there are no basket or checkout cookies. We do not set advertising cookies for anybody other than Google, and we do not sell or share what the analytics collect.
